My name is Katie Lamparty, and I am the founder of A Pawsitive Impact. Animals have always been a part of my life—I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, and they have shaped my passion for animal welfare. My career in the pet care industry has allowed me to work closely with dogs every day, giving me firsthand experience in their behavior, training, and the challenges they face.

 

I have the opportunity to learn from experienced dog trainers and witness the transformative power of training. However, I couldn’t help but think about the countless shelter dogs who never get that same opportunity—dogs who struggle to find homes simply because they lack structure, training, or confidence. I wanted to do something unique to bridge that gap, to help not just rescue dogs, but prepare them for success in their forever homes. That is why I founded A Pawsitive Impact.
