Jeffery's Story: From Shelter Pup to Adventure Buddy
Jeff is a 5-month-old pit mix who stole our hearts from the moment he came through our doors. Born in the shelter back in November, Jeff spent the first few months of his life waiting patiently for a place to call home. When he joined our crew, we knew this sweet, wiggly boy deserved nothing but the best — and within just TWO WEEKS, we found it for him! 🏡✨
Now officially adopted, Jeff hit the jackpot! Not only does he have a loving forever family, but he also gets a human brother to grow up with and tons of land to explore. His new life is full of adventures, from camping trips under the stars to hiking trails with his people — just the kind of life every pup dreams of. 🌲🏕️🐾
The best part? Jeff isn’t saying goodbye to us! He’ll be coming to daycare to play with all his friends and continue building on the amazing progress he’s made in his training program. From a shelter pup with an uncertain future to a confident, happy explorer — Jeff is living proof of what love, care, and second chances can do. 💫

Houston’s Story: From Shelter Kennel to Forever Home
Houston’s journey began in a crowded shelter, quietly waiting for her chance. When she entered Pawsitive Impact’s foster program, everything changed. In her foster home, Houston blossomed — learning trust, building confidence, and developing her obedience and social skills through patient training and love.
Her transformation was incredible, and soon the perfect family came along. Houston was adopted into a wonderful home where she now has a canine brother, Sisco, who has become her favorite playmate. Her new family owns a beautiful farm, complete with horses, giving Houston endless space to explore and new adventures every day.
Her new family shared, “Houston fits right in! She and Sisco get along so well — they love to play together and even share toys. She’s been such a good girl and hasn’t given us any trouble. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family.”

RJ’s Story: A Temporary Home, A Lifelong Bond
RJ was a special case — not a dog in need of a new family, but one whose family needed time to rebuild. When his loving owners faced housing challenges that didn’t allow dogs, they were heartbroken at the thought of surrendering him to a shelter. That’s where Pawsitive Impact stepped in.
Instead of facing an uncertain future, RJ was welcomed into our foster program. During his time with us, he worked on socialization, leash manners, and obedience skills — becoming more confident and well-behaved with every passing week. RJ quickly showed how eager he was to learn and how much love he had to give.
The best part of RJ’s story came full circle when his family found a new home where he was welcome. The reunion was filled with joy, tail wags, and happy tears.
His family shared, “We are so grateful to Pawsitive Impact for taking care of RJ while we worked through this tough time. He came home even better than before — he’s walking great on the leash and gets along wonderfully with everyone. Having him back with us means the world.”
